Shell Completion
Pebblify can generate autocompletion scripts for bash and zsh shells, providing tab completion for commands, subcommands, and flags.
Install Completions
The easiest way to set up completions is with the install subcommand:
pebblify completion install
This automatically detects your shell and installs the completion script to the appropriate location.
Generate Completions
You can also generate scripts manually:
- Bash
- Zsh
pebblify completion bash
The script is installed to ~/.bash_completion.d/pebblify.
To apply manually:
pebblify completion bash > ~/.bash_completion.d/pebblify
source ~/.bash_completion.d/pebblify
pebblify completion zsh
The script is installed to a directory from your FPATH, falling back to ~/.zsh/completions/_pebblify.
To apply manually:
pebblify completion zsh > ~/.zsh/completions/_pebblify
autoload -Uz compinit && compinit
